Kodi 20 “Nexus” is a significant update following the two-year gap since Kodi 19 “Matrix.” It brings several notable additions, including support for PipeWire multimedia server, AV1 codec decoding and encoding through InputStream, and AV1 hardware decoding via VA-API on Linux platforms. It promises several new features and improvements.

Now, an improved release 20.2 is here, called Kodi ‘Nexus’. As a free, open-source, and cross-platform media player software, Kodi delivers an unparalleled media center experience across various platforms, including GNU/Linux, Android, Raspberry Pi, iOS, tvOS, macOS, and Windows.

We’re glad to see that Kodi 20 has been released recently.
